I have had some good luck in the past few weeks. I had a credit card with a 5k limit that was around 4,800. I paid it off from savings. I also had a lawn mower loan for about 4k that i owed about 3,800 (New loan). It showed as 60 days late because they fat fingered the checking account info. I called them and asked if i paid it off in full if they would remove it since it was their fault. They said ok and sent an email saying they would remove them as soon as the payment cleared. I paid it off and got an update that the ballance had dropped on the credit card but not the mower payment yet. My score jumped from 552 to 691 on EQ. The rest are taking some time i guess. I also paid off one other 500 CL card from CO. I am still waiting on the other scores to fall in line with this. I am not sure what else to do to raise my score. I only have one 30 day late from the bank on my credit card that i paid off. I am trying for a GW on this. Thanks for all the input on this. This is a great community.
