Just had 2 collections removed and score dropped 5 points. es, it's a FAKO, but still disappointing.
Still glad to have them gone though! Hopefully one of my FICOs will update soon and have better results.

Grats to getting the CAs off....
If they were your only remaining major derogs, it would have moved you into a clean payment history categorization, or "bucket," which could have moved your scoring to a new algorithm.

Didn't think about that, but alas, it's not the case. One more collection and 6 charge offs left. 5 of the 6 charge offs gone later this year. Checked my credit karma fako and it actually went up 4 points, so I'm guessing its just one of those weird FAKO things.
The FAKO change may be due to a drop in AAoA or even rebucketing. However, remember that FAKO scores are for educational purposes only and don't necessarily replicate FICO models very well in many circumstances.
I would also point out that even the FICO score (that you get here) doesn't necessarily replicate the FICO scores that a given lender will use because of the many different versions FICO has. We are only able to see "one" version out of 49 different *current* scoring models they have. In addition, mortgage lenders use the older FICO 04 model.
IMO, the FICO score you get from this site is no more or less relevant that one you get elsewhere, FAKO or not. The only one that's relevant is the one the lender is going to use.
