Re: 2012 Goals

My score took a dive about a month ago due to a new collection from LVNV popping up, so I feel like I'm back at square one. I sent out DV's to a few CAs (and one PFD) at the end of the year, and I received all of my green cards back so I'm just waiting to see what happens with that. If the two come back verified then I will offer PFD as they're both outside of SOL so that's what I'm interested in.

On the other end of the spectrum I'm hoping to increase my score/AAoA until about mid year (so no new apps!!!!), and see how things look and evaluate the possibility of applying for new credit. I opened an AMEX Zync not too long ago, so hoping to build a relationship with AMEX so that I can get approved for one of their revolving cards.

Happy New Year!

Re: 2012 Goals

Goals are great!  They are the start of a plan....

But goals need a plan to carry them out.  Removal of adverse items requires a knowledge of the process.

By far and away, this site is the best source I have come across for help in developing a solid plan, as the advice here is both solid and fairly objective.

By being on the site, I would suspect you have a head start in putting a solid plan behind those goals!

Best luck in the coming year!
