Re: 2015 - Year of Gardening?

It is great to see others setting the goal of gardening for 2015 as well!  As I mentioned earlier, for the most part I used 2014 to tweak all the areas that I could (get CL's up, get Util extremely low and get a couple of lates removed).  I feel that in my case it would be best to garden all of 2015 and let more time heal all the wounds from 2-3 years ago.

Wishing everyine a Happy FICO 2015!  Smiley Happy

Hello Friends,
Anyone else planning to Garden all of 2015?

I won't be gardening the entire year, but I plan to grow the one card I have for 6 months and then apply for one additional. So....semi-gardening all year. Smiley Happy

Re: 2015 - Year of Gardening?

I'm gardening the entire 2015, as my last app was for Sallie Mae/Barclay (approved).....and now processing what cards will remain & what will go !  If a CLI increasse occurs, it will be upon the issuer to do it because there will be NONE requested by me. Finally seeing mid 700's & one proud heffa (LOL) from where I started 2 years ago on this board.

Re: 2015 - Year of Gardening?

Def gardening here,

Started repairing early 2014

Got two secured cards.. Cap1 @ $500 and USbank HD-Visa @ $300

Kept paying on time, in full for a whole year..

New years eve 2015

Applied for Cap1 Quicksilver, approved @ $500 and became UNSECURED!

Applied for AMERICAN EXPRESS Everyday Credit Card, approved @ $500 and got MSD 2015!

Also got authorized on my father's Amex Optima @ $5K for an extra treadline on the reports.

I'm going to be gardening for all 2015 and just waiting for CLI's and incoming offers for better cards.

Re: 2015 - Year of Gardening?

I plan to garden for all of 2015 and 2016 (I hope lolSmiley Very Happy). I've been rebuiding my credit the past 9 months and have about 13 inquiries(auto loans and cc's) on each CRA. I backed out of the auto loan after approval of 5% APR because I didn't want take on any more long-term debt outside of student loans. I currently have two cc's-Cap One QS and Chase Freedom. I'm an AU on my DH Cap One QS and FNBO Plat Visa. Also, I have some pending disputes with the CRAs and some CO's to fall off that was initiated by the OC. I just want my report clean Smiley Tongue.

My scores as of Jan 2015 are EQ 647, TU 656, and EX 652. My first goal is to get 700s across the board!!!
