3 baddies left

Ok friends here is what I have left:

1.  ACS/JP Morgan student loan $16,000.  I am the co borrower with my exhusband. It was his student loan. It is in forbearance until Feb 2013. Reporting as pays as agrees but has NUMEROUS 120+ past due statues. I'm not even tackling this until after holidays. It makes me too mad.

2.  Ashley Funding $422 past due. Original creditor EmCare. I have no idea what this is. I have sent DV letters and PFD letters. No response. I finally emailed EmCare and they are trying to see what it is. On credit report it say debt disputed. DOLA  April 2008. What do I do now??

3.  Medical Data Systems. Collection. $186. Paid in 2010.  I have sent numerous GW letters to several different people.  Received 2 letters back saying info is reporting paid. but will not delete. What do I do now??

I want these stupid baddies GONE! :smileywink:

Re: 3 baddies left

What are the DOFDs on these?

Dates of last activity and payment really don't matter.

However some might be coming off sooner than you realize.

Re: 3 baddies Left

I have dealt with Medical Data Systems.  They were very difficult to deal with, even reported $30 mor an what I owed. I was not getting anywhere with PFD of GW so I went thru a credit repair..it disappeared, even w/o payment..

Unfortunately you're looking at these falling off in 2015-2016.  They're about 4 years old.  What's the SOL for your state?  Maybe you can use a little leverage on these.

Re: 3 baddies left

My original amt due was $360. They've jacked it up to $422. That's with Ashley Funding.   MDS is paid. It was paid off in 2010.  SOL for Texas is 4 yrs.  I will probably just let both fall off. One of my reports says one will fall off 3-2015 the other 10-2015. I'm really not planning on applying for any big credit until my son graduates in 2016. The only thing I really want is another credit card with a decent limit. I have two little ones with 500 limits that are paid off.
