3 out of 3 CA Deletions

Hi Everyone.

Just wanted to say that GW emails can and do work!

I had 3 CA accounts with Afni, Credit Protection Assoc., and RJM Acquisitions.  I sent emails to each of them requesting a delete since they had been paid and I received a response back from each stating that they have requested that the accounts be deleted from all three bureaus.

I am sooooo happy.  This should really give my score a boost!

Thanks myfico Fam for all the great advice and information!

Re: 3 out of 3 CA Deletions

I just failed at an attempt to goodwill Credit Protection Association by phone. They told me the original creditor (Charter Communications) would have to delete the item before they could delete it thru the CRA's. Charter told me the exact opposite. Your victory gives me hope.

Re: 3 out of 3 CA Deletions

Awesome job! Glad to hear you got CPA to delete. They wouldnt even reply to my GW request on a paid collection account. And it was only like 9 or so months away from completely dropping from my CRs because it was that old. That and I live like 45 minutes away from their office in TX. You must have found the right person, on the right day or something, lol. Or just really awesome GW skills. :smileyvery-happy:
