30 day late - Is that possible to remove by... ?

Hey guys,

I was wondering if anyone has tried this and if it works at all..

I was thinking of calling 2 CC companies to see if they would remove a late payment (I only have 1 late payment on 2 cards) if I were to sigh up for automatic payment.  I can't recall where I heard that tidbit from, but I heard that's possible.  

I'm wondeing if anyone has tried and been successful at this.
