So, I had a 584 to start and now just got a score watch alert that I am at 618! What changed is that I got my ex's charged off Discover off of my CR (was never an AU or anything...not sure why it was there) and applied for an got a NFCU Cash Rewards CC with a $5k credit line. One thing I'm curious about though is that it doesn't look like NFCU reported my limit. Is that just because it's the first time they have posted it? Would it be better if they put the credit limit, esp since it's fairly high? How else would they calculate your ratio?
Next step to start working on the collections...

Hang in there, they will report the limit probably when your first statement drops so they can report the utilization as well. The initial reporting to the CRA's was just adding their account to your portfolio. The 5k will definitely help with your current utilization and should show you a nice improvement! Congrats!
