My new Cap1 card reported on my equifax report today, got a score watch alert and my score went from 616 to 649! I'm so happy right now, just thought I had to tell someone. Thanks.
Congratulations!
I know how happy I've been when I've had a significant score spike, so I really feel glad for you. Welcome to the Cap 1 family!
Great News. Did you pay off the Cap one CC. Asking becuase I paid off mine off along with 3 others on Jan 9th 2011 and I am hoping to see a jump in my score.
Congratulations
Congrats, I'm hoping for the same thing. I applied online using my new "married" name and got a letter in the mail asking for verification of my identity. I'm hoping that's because they are actually considering me and just want to be sure I am who I say I am. It would be a real bummer if I send them the docs to have them deny me.
But once again, CONGRATS!! If you don't mind me asking, what CL did you receive?
The Cap1 card I got is acutally a secured card with a $300 CL. My statement actually cut on Jan. 14 but it says on my report that Capital one reported on Jan 1, 2011. I made my first payment on it on Dec. 31. I'm not sure but I'm thinking that they may have reported after that intial payment because most people have been waiting quite a while for capital one to start reporting to the credit agencies. Either way, I'm very happy with the increase although I pulled my transuion fico and it hasn't been reported there yet.
Congratulations that's awesome!
DO you need more credit lines to work with however? If so, I know of a few that might help.
