+ 34 points EX for paying util. down

I got a 34 point increase today (Experian)  for paying util. on my only cc from 95% to 3%.  I was hoping to see a higher increase, darn.

Congrats. A 34+ boost in such a short amount of time was something that I originally thought was impossible. Now, I assume by util at 3%, you mean that only 3% separates your balance from limit, correct? I'm still a newbie Either way, good job.

3% util means you are only using 3% of your credit lines. Thus, if you had 100 in credit lines, you would be using 3 bucks. Prior to that the original poster was using the equivalent of 95 dollars of credit out of 100.
