I dont know what made my score go up? But its a decent increase for me! Just goes to show what I have beend doing is paying off. Fico is at 567 started at 487 when I first purchased score watch in january. Still waiting for my reports to show that I have paid down all of my balances. Hopefully that is another point increase.
Great Job!!!!! Paying your UTIL down to 9% or lower will give you a nice bump in score.
Congrats!
Nice increase!!
Thanks guys!! I know its not a score most would be happy with but I am happy to see it increase and now I am hoping to hit 600 fico soon.
Well I don't know anybody on these boards that wouldn't want a 36 point increase! You just keep it going!
Great Job!
I got my Walmart Card today and my rejection letter for Chase. Freedom. i finally got to see 2 real fico scores.. i had seen CreditKarma fako scores before that were 707 and 647 and other fakos that were all over the place in the 600s. Well my real ficos are listed in my sig and they are significantly lower. I have a lot of gardening to
do. I have 2 baddies on my reports and I am going through the process of doing whatever I can to get them removed as they afre both debts that were paid off years ago. I have a lot of gardening to do. I established 2 new tradelines last month which are the only active tradelines I have now and I just need to garden and basically let time pass. My scores are worse than I thought but thats ok.
I'm on the right track and I don't need credit now. I'm happy I have been taking positive steps now instead of at some later date when I actually need credit. The other positive step I took was I got a second job. I just got hired for it. It is an extra 30 hours a week of work but all the money will go to savings/ investments. I'm really happy about the path I am embarking on. Now I just have to stick with it and my scores are bound to improve. Thanks all here for all the help and advice. I have been given great advice I think. I have come a long way in just a month. I got 2 credit cards, I filed for Federal Tax Lien withdrawal, I wrote goodwill letters for my other baddy and have already made 3 attempts to contact the company. I have obtained copies of my credit reports including innovis and I got a duplicate negative record removed. Next step is to garden and I am saving up 2000 dollars, My new job I am going to autodeposit my pay to a nearby branch of DCU where I plan to open an account and as soon as I get either 1 or 2000 dollars I am going to apply for a secure creditbuilder loan. that does two things.. It helps my credit and it assures that I have that 1 or 2000 dollars saved for that time period. I am excited to garden for a year and watch my scores creep up as my baddies age (and hopefully I can convince someone to remove them) and my new accounts age as well. i have to be disciplined and not really charge anything which is probably the hardest part for me but I know I can do it. Thanks for all the great advice. I am basically just doing what people on this site suggested I do....
Congratulations!
