My last score watch alert reported my score at 511 on 3/3/2013, got my power score report or whatever that report is called from score watch, and it is now a 558!!! Why didn't I get a score watch alert about this increase?
In the settings, what did you set your goal score to?

Just wondering scorewatch gives the accurate fico score
Yes, scorewatch gives the Equifax Beacon 5.0 FICO score.
There are 2 big things you need to know about Scorewatch alerts
1) you don't always get them immediately. If your score changes tomorrow due to something that wouldn't cause a regular alert (somethng listed in the settings), you may not get any alert at all for 7-10 days. Collections or lates going away or your balances decreasing are not regular-alert-causing events. If it changes due to one of the other events (new account, new collection, balance increases based on your notification threshold) and there's a score change affiliated with that, you'll get a notice.
2) To get alerts, your score change has to have "crossed" your goal score. If your current score is 550 and you have your goal score set at 600 and your score has hit 599, ScoreWatch will not tell you. If your current score is 550 and your goal score is set at 550, you will get a notice if it goes to 551 or 549 or anything else. Heck, I've gotten "score change" notices when my score was exactly the same. Basically, always update your goal score when you get an alert to whatever your current score is.

Even with #2, don't expecdt the alert to immediate. SW says that it will check score change once a week, but my experience have been more like every 2 weeks.
Yeah, and you can set it up to alert you even if there is no change. You'll get an email saying "ScoreWatch has detected no changes in your credit report" periodically, so you'll at least then know.
Thanks everyone. I got an alert on the 12th that the score went from 509 to 511, but found it odd I didn't get anything when it went from 511 to 558!
