Man o man....So, upon the advice of you guys, I acquired a Walmart card with a $700 limit. Today my EQ jumped to 702, from 677 because of it.
Prior to that, EQ went up 32 points after an installment load was paid off with 100% payment history in 3yrs, and me paying down my Cap One card to less than 10% (currently 0 balance), and my US Bank reserve line down to 6%.
TU is at 672, but I expect that to go up as well. EX stuck at 652?
This was done in the last 36 days and with the great advice from this forum!
THANK YOU ALL!!! WOOT WOOT
Excellent! Encouragement for us all! Congratulations.
Inspiration!
Awesome! Looking forward to the day I can get an approval! (:
Fantastic! How long did it take between when you obtained the Walmart card and when the big jump happened? That'd be valuable experience for others trying to build their credit.
Awesome job. Congrats!!!!
The increase to my EQ happened as soon as Walmart reported the account to them which has been just a couple of days, AND before I received the card. I don't even have the card yet!
Thanks for all the kudos people!
