580,562,419 Help!!

[ Edited ]

Hello! I've been looking around this forum since January and have found very useful information here. I'm on a journey to rebuild my credit. As a young adult until now I never really took care of my credit. Now that I want to become a homeowner my credit is coming back to bite me. January I ordered all three of my credit reports after a realtor ran my credit.

I disputed almost everything on it. Today I went back to see my realtor and to my surprise my scores went up 43-75 pts between the 3 bureaus. I've applied for the Orchard unsecured cc online and it said that I was approved so I'm just waiting on it.

I also applied for the Capital 1 secured card and made the deposit as well. Any advice as to what else I can do to get my score up? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance:smileyhappy:

Re: 580,562,419 Help!!

I would target the remaining derogatives on your report such as collection accounts, charge-offs, or late payment if you have any. Send out debt validation letter on any debts that you're unsure about its legitimacy, offer PFD for unpaid debts, and GW paid debts/late payments.

Starting Score (08/11/11): TU08: 643
Current Score: TU08: 741
Goal Score: Stay in the 700s; keep reports clean

 Welcome to the forums,

Well you've came to the right place, to learn about repairing and rebuilding credit.

Do you have any baddies reporting now, on your CR's?  If so, what's reporting?
