Burned2manybridgesB4 - where does it state in the llnk you posted that they could wipe your file? Please advise.
Bet it pops back up down the road, and you'll have disputing issues then.
twanswife916 Thanks for posting an example of your letter. One question, is it prescriptive enough? Meaning what if they respond that the source of the information is the Creditor - have they at that point answered your demand?

You are requsting for verifiable proof of the negative events they have reported which means they have to have original documentation in their files. CRA's and OC communicate electronically. 9times out of 10 the CRA's do not have the documentation therfore they must delete the negative evens permenately
IMO this is just frivolous disputing, to knock baddies off early. Even though the CRA is blocking the visibility only, the CAs are still there, and this data can present itself in a FF report, or even ARS/IDS. Good luck.

Thanks for further clarifying. Please keep us posted on the outcome.
Did this ever work?
Whatever happened with this process?
It would be my geuss that since no one posted back any positive results, it proved to be an ineffective method.
