So I started 1 year 3 months ago, 27 negative items.. Credit score 554.
Today I pulled it: nothing left, 9 inquirys removed..725 Experian, 720 EQ and TU don't know but assume much higher being that it is TU.
all I have had up until now is secured cards $300 CL's so when I got an offer for a credit card with Citibank, 18 months no interest, cash back, 12.99% I interest I thought I'd be lucky to get a $500 CL. They came back with $6500.00 I'm feeling a bit like an adult now, little nervous but I earned this. It was a lot if work but it paid off.
Thanks everyone for your help this last year.
This board has been invaluable.

Stories like this give me so much hope that I will reach my goal one day!!! Congratulations!
that's so awesome. congrats!!
Congrats!! great job in improving and rebuilding your credit!
How did you get nine removed? God, I got none removed from goodwill.
Congrats your approval!
And if you plan on buying a home I would just stick with that CL until you close on your new home. I don't believe that it will hurt your chances at all. Wait at least 6 months before you mortgage app and keep your utili low. You'll be just fine getting approved for a home.
Congratulations. YOur hard work paid off.
