good morning again

I am fairly new to this'lls so I do have a fe questions about your post what is a non PP- letter? FA? EQ?

I will accept this as a lesson for future as its too late now. I already disputed with Equifax.

Hoping it doesn't bite me in the bum.

Check these out:

Common Abbreviations

Credit Scoring 101 - great for knowing what is in your credit score and to see how your score is impacted.

What Steps Do I Take - great for learning the repair process.

and Example letters - PFDs, GWs, DVs, etc.

Non-PP = non-permissible purpose letter for inquiries):

FA = fraud alert

EQ = Equifax

If something is wrong on your report you have every right under the Fair Credit Reporting Act to dispute it..
You will be fine.

Re: $6500 credit line!

Kind of on the same subject of inquiries:

What happens if a credit co says they are reviewing my credit report based on TU, I ask for a recon, they say the same thing, and then I find out later when I look at my credit monitor that they pulled TU and EX? Can I dispute the EX? They never disclosed to me over the phone that they pulled EX, and I spoke to them on 3 separate occasions...

Just curious..

Re: $6500 credit line!

Unfortunately every bank/cc company has the right to pull your report off all 3 CR's when you sign a application or do one via the Internet.
Some only report to 1 or 2 which seems in your case.
The letter received probably is indicating that something "specific" about TU was in your report that was included in their denial.
You CAN Dispute it but under the permissible purpose provisions I doubt it would be removed but it is always worth a shot.
You can always send in a copy if the letter I provided in the earlier posts and see what happens.
You have a right under the permissible purpose provisions to see every detail of your report that they were provided.
Good luck

So I started 1 year 3 months ago, 27 negative items.. Credit score 554.
Today I pulled it: nothing left, 9 inquirys removed..725 Experian, 720 EQ and TU don't know but assume much higher being that it is TU.
all I have had up until now is secured cards $300 CL's so when I got an offer for a credit card with Citibank, 18 months no interest, cash back, 12.99% I interest I thought I'd be lucky to get a $500 CL. They came back with $6500.00 I'm feeling a bit like an adult now, little nervous but I earned this. It was a lot if work but it paid off.
Thanks everyone for your help this last year.
