I have seen my first score increase within less than a month of joining these forums! 66 points!!
Thanks for all of the advice everyone. I was able to get two disputed collections off of my credit report and am waiting on the 3rd one to be removed within the next few weeks for an even bigger jump!! It's pretty amazing how much lack of awareness affects your credit in such a negative way; these boards are definitely the best resource I have found in becoming more financially educated
