Re: 700 club

Congrats on the good work.

I hit 700 last week on EX.

Now to get 700+ on TU and EQ.

3 bads left and should be solid 700s across the board.

Writing my PFDs right now.

BTW, was at 540 11/2007.

Re: 700 club

The 700 club? Oh yesssss, It can be done.. I was dilligent about my credit scores and reports.. I did research and stayed on the myFICO forums, started working hard on my credit in April of 2012 along with a subscription of scorewatch. When I started, my score was EQ 620, TU 687.. That big difference was because I had a credit card still reporting from 1992 that was in good standing with TU.. wowww! But I had 3 medical collections that I worked on getting off, got two of 'em off last year, and one off this month. Got the first two off, BOOM! 10 points to the good.. Had an account that was dormant for a little more than three months, and charged some goods.. That was 22 more points for new activity on that card. Got the last one off (collection) and my scores were like the space shuttle going to the moon! If you're serious about your situation, then stay with it! My scores now are TU 794, and EQ was 769, but dropped to 758 because I apped for a prime card.. But guess what?? I GOT IT! And with a higher limit than I thought I would ever see! I've raised my goal to an 800 credit score! I don't have to have so many cards, but it feels good to have the confidence of knowing there'll be a 90% chance they'll say no problem, and we can give you our best rates.. All done in just over a year..Smiley Wink!

Handle ya bidness, It pays!

Re: 700 club

Congrats! I went from high 500's to mid 700's over a 5 year period. I made over 500 payments on various accounts on time, lowered my util from 80% to about 20% and opened several credit accounts which I keep at zero balance. In one more year, my last neg account that was 60d past due will be falling off. I expect to be in the 800 club this time next year. Welcome to the 700's!!! Doesn't it feel great!?!
