To everyone out there who's had trouble in the past with their credit scores, I'm here to tell you there's hope.
I just pulled up my EQ FICO score and it jumped 84 points from 717 to 801. A total of 3 negative accounts were removed (due to CRTP expiring) causing this increase. Now, I still have 4 baddies on my report that are due to fall off within the next year but good scores are still possible with negative information.
So, to everyone out there trying to increase your FICO scores just be patient and follow the great advice from the people on this forum. You will see results too, I'm proof.
Wow that's amazing, congrats to you!
What did your scores start at, and when?

Thanks.
I started tracking my FICO scores this year (January 2009) and they were all between 600 - 612.
WOW what an improvement!!! How much of that increase was due to inaccurate information and how much did you have removed thru GW's and PFD's?
What 4 baddies do you have remaining?
How long is your history?
Most of the improvement was through expiring CRTP's, sending out DV's and getting my revolving credit utilization down between 1% to 4%. I didn't send out any GW's.
The 4 baddies I have remaining are charge-offs and collections, although the collection accounts are reporting as 120-day lates rather than true collection accounts. These will all drop-off within the next year.
I put myself in a bad situation several years ago, suffered the consequences (as it relates to my credit scores) but now I'm seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.....and it's not a train!

Schlebrock...congrats. I noticed you posted your scores in your siggy. Where did you get your EX FICO score from?
My LO gave it to me (about a week ago) as I'm going through the mortgage approval process right now. Last time I pulled it on my own was the last day that you could could get here on myFICO and it was 688.
