Hi there! I need some advice. I'm currently participating in a debt consolidation plan with Greenpath since August 2010. In that plan, I've included a CitiFlex LOC and an HSBC account which was sold to Portfolio Recovery. Citiflex has agreed to participate in the plan and has been since August. However, on my credit reports it is still showing as a charge off with no updates that it is being paid through a CCCS. Should I contact Citiflex and ask them to update?
As for Portfolio Recovery, they recently told Greenpath (after taking my $60 each month since August) that they don't want to particiapte in the program want me to PIF. HSBC is reporting as charge off on my reports and Portfolio Recovery is showing up on report as well. I have all my paperwork from Greenpath that outlines what money has been taken so far by Portfolio Recovery. Should I just work directly with them? I won't be able to PIF, but perhaps a PFD? Any suggestions would be helpful.
Thank you!

You could ask Citiflex to update. They should report accurately anyway. For Portfolio, did they end the agreement? If so, save up for 100%, and then offer a PFD for a settlement amount of your choosing. You'd want 100% saved to the side because if they reject your settlement offer in your PFD, then you can always come back with more.
Thank you for your reply. No, they didn't end the agreement formally and are still taking the $60 per month that I send through Greenpath.
