ADVISE ON Charged Off BofA Credit Card (PAID) PLEASE HELP!

Hello all,

I need to inquire upon all your expert advise.

I had a BofA credit card that was charged off. I paid off the entire balance a while back ago, but the Charge Off and late payment history is still reflecting on my credit report.

Which is the best way to have this removed from my credit reports?

Since this is paid to $0 balance, I know a Pay For Delete will do me no good.

Since this account is closed, I know that writing a Good Will letter will do me no good as I am no longer a customer of theirs.

I've tried to Debt Validate this account numerous times, and they have always responded.

What are my options? Thank you all in advance!

Actually, a GW is exactly what you want to do for a paid off acct. 

When was it paid off & what are your late dates?? How old is the acct?  The closer the pay off date to when it might actually drop off your acct, the better.

Did you pay B of A?  Or did it go to collections? It doesn't sound like it did, but I thought I'd ask....

You are stuck with two options: Wait it out or GW.

You can GW without being a current customer. I've seen many success stories of that happening. I had partial success with CapOne via a GW and I hadn't been a customer for over 5 yrs.

Another option besides writing is calling the GW in. Don't read from a script but mention that you goofed sometime back and you are hoping for some help.
