Hi MYFICO Family,

I've been working on cleaning up some baddies from my credit report and the advice that I've recv'd these boards is phenomenal! I had a baddie from AFNI for an old TMobile bill. The orig bal was $1182.67. Before reading the boards, I settled with AFNI for $100. I sent a GW via USPS to AFNI back in July but it was returned for a bad address. This morning I sent an email to them through their website  and look at the present they returned:

	Original Creditor:       T-MOBILE
	Creditor Account #:
	Social Security:         XXX-XX-XXXX
	Balance Due:             $1,182.67

This letter is to verify that we have filed a request with the credit bureaus to delete the account listed above from your credit report.

If you have any questions, please contact our office toll free at 1-888-827-6002 Monday through Friday 7am – 9pm CST.

You have the right to inspect your credit.  This letter is from a debt collector.

Hi Vickie and welcome to the forums.

PM stands for Private Messenger. It's a way for members to communicate without public comments. First you have to make sure PM's are enabled. To do that go to the top of the page and click on  My Settings----> Preferences----> Private Messenger. Then see if the "Turn on private messages" box is clicked.

Once you do that you'll be able to receive PM's. At the top right of this page you'll see a small icon that looks like an envelope. When you have an unread PM it will be yellow instead of white. It will also say you have unread messages.

EQ - 7/06-663, 3/10-800
TU - 8/10-772
You can do the same thing with hard work
