It seems as if this is becoming rather redundant but AFNI has agreed to delete a collection listed on my CR from all 3 bureaus!
How it happened for me?
For AFNI, old AT&T/Bellsouth phone bill...
Sent a postal mail letter PFD to them 6 weeks ago, no response at all.
Simply sent an email of the same PFD letter to the public AFNI email address 3 hours ago, then just got the following message:
"This letter is to verify that we have filed a request with the credit bureaus to delete the account listed above from your credit
report.
If you have any questions, please contact our office toll free at 1-888-xxx-xxxxx Monday through Friday 7am – 9pm CT.
You have the right to inspect your credit. This letter is from a debt collector.
Sincerely,
Afni, Inc."
For Trident Assest Management, old Columbia House DVD club membership I don't remember having...
Sent a postal mail letter PFD to them 6 weeks ago, checked credit report 3 weeks later and it was gone!
