I've tried every attempt to get a GW deletion from AFNI only to hear the same ole answer - NO!. Then to top it off they want to give me a sermon about why they can't. it's frustrating. If there are any of you who have had any success, I 'd appreciate your contact or method. I've tried email, calling and sending letters. It's my one and only baddie. I'd prefer it gone.
I'm sending a GW to them this week. I'll post to let you know if they accept it. How much was yours for? I settled for $88 with them.

How long ago did you pay?
I just paid this last month and it was for $450 and i settled with them for $130.
I paid a settlement with them a few months ago. A few weeks after I paid it they updated it with the balance minus the amount that I paid for the settlement and a couple of weeks after that they updated it to a 0 balance, settled for a lesser amount. Within another month it had disappeared from my CR without me even asking for a deletion again, so give it a little time and hopefully the same thing will happen to you
i settled a $65 debt wtih them for $25 in april of 2010 and I have emailed, sent letters, etc., and no response at all let alone a deletion. Can't seem to get their attention AT ALL
KEEP TRYING!!
I disputed an item with them & it was just deleted today! I've dealt with them in the past too & they deleted that one on their own....don't give up! Persistence is the key
does anyone have an email contact that has been good to them for a gw delete?? pm to me please
AFNI will delete it. they sometimes respond and say they will not but usually they delete. I have had 2 collections with AFNI get delete. One of them was before I found myfico and the most recent was a few months back when I sent an email asking for deletion after payment and never received a response but within a few wks they deleted the collection after I settled the account for $50.
