Hey folks:
I have not written in a while. I have some encouraging information for everyone attempting to get their credit back on track. Exactly one year ago, my credit scores were in the low 500's.
Since discovering myfico, and the desire to finally own a home, I dedicated all my spare time in reparing my credit. SInce then, this is what I have accomplished....
1. Purchased $140,000 home
2. Got first $500.00 Cap 1 credit card (only had one card before from First Premier which went into collections)
3. Got second $100.00 limit Besby Buy HSBC card
4. Got Macys car at $300.00 limit
5. Got JcPenney card at $100.00 limit
JOINED LOCAL GOVERNMENT CREDIT UNION
6. Refinanaced car loan from 21.99 % to 4.5%
7. Approved for $5,000 unsecured loan (for engagement ring..almost paid off)
8. Approved today for credit card with $3,000 limit!!!
Except for my mortgage, car loan, and unscured loan... I have no debt..
I OWE EVERYTHING TO MYFICO AND THESE BOARDS. I still only have an average score of 670, but it sure beats 508. 700 HERE I COME!
