AMCA Labcorp Medical Collection

Has anyone had success getting a PFD for AMCA.?  I have a collection for Labcorp that was assigned to AMCA. The payment is $66.00.  I have made contact but they say they will not do a PFD only update to paid.

For unpaid medical debt that is reporting on your CR:

1. Call the OC and see if you qualify for Charity Care
2. If not then ask that they recall the collection in exchange for full payment
3. Send the reporting CA a PFD offer
4. Google the HIPAA Process and contact its creator for help

Hi. The OC will not recall the collection per our phone conversation and the Ca declined my PFD offer. How do upu qualify for Charity Care

Typcally its based on income at the time of service each organization has their own rules for it you would need to contact the finance office of the OC and see what the requirements are to meet it and if they offer it.
