im sure like most of you all know that Equifax is the worst of all 3 CRA to deal with. Slow as hell, so backwards... in fact they are stupid at their best... well anyways I had disputed this AMEX charge off that was due to fall off in 2019 - EX and TU actually deleted almost immediately. However being the idiots they are - Equifax wasn't helpful and kept giving me the BS. I knew there was no progress with them at all so I filed a complaint with the CFPB and this morning, a little close to a month later I got a response from them via the CFPB.
So im sharing this to all those who have to deal or put up with the nonsense from Equifax. If they aren't complying, do not hesitate to file a complaint against them. They are totally something else...

Congratulations on getting it deleted. I am still waiting to hear back from EQ. They seem to be taking forever. They received request on 3/28. When i asked TU to delete my charge off early, they were able to do it within an day or two.

For tu I didn't really do anything went to their online dispute and put in note to request early since it was scheduled to come off in may anyways. Eq is another story still waiting on their reply
