YAY! Thanks to the help I've gotten from here I've raised my score 112 points in 6 weeks.
A couple days ago I found something I wanted for my car. No, not rims. I was trying to find a way to buy this $800 item so i thought a personal loan would work. And its not just for the car. This is also a way for me to build credit. So for the next 11 months, I pay $50. Cant wait to cross the 700 mark!!
By the way, its true. Credit Unions seem to be easier to get a small loan from. What I did to make sure my chances were good and so this wouldnt put another inquiry on my report was I printed out my credit reports along with MYFICO credit score. I took all that to the credit union and said "don't run my credit unless you're sure I will get the loan because I dont want my score to be dinged just to be rejected." They were confident so I filled out the forms. And got it!
