If you do call the number to Att EO--- be aware that they can't hang up on you. She stayed on the phone with me for over an hour. Although it did nothing but annoy her... She did end up transferring me to the voicemail of the president.

I'm sorry to hear that Patrice... I'm thinking you should call everyday to get a different person.  It has worked for many people, including myself on the first try.  ERC does NOT do PFD's so you defintely wouldn't have won there... be persistant and give it another shot -- be sure to reference that the person who took your pmt in full assured you that your account would be recalled from ERC and it appears that they are still attempting to collect on it even though you've PIF with AT&T.

Thanks for the encouragement. Shannon, did the collection update to $0 prior to deleting? The collection ok my credit report now says $0, when I called the EO, the woman was completely unsympathetic and said that now that there is a case, I will be directed to her each time I call.

Yes, my accounts updated to $0 prior to being removed completely.  I would ask to speak to a supervisor?  What did the person handling your case say would be done?  Did she say the debt would be recalled from ERC?

The woman assigned to my case said that since the ca had updated to $0, it was considered closed. She said she would not recall the debt unless there was a mistake on Att part.
Maybe she was wrong? Maybe it'll delete at a later date?
