When someone puts you on their accounts for AU, Does it effect their credit?

Re: AU

No. It can however affect your score if they run high balances every month.

Re: AU

Additionally, while adding an AU to your file may result in score improvment, it is not always advisable to do so for that reason alone.

If a prospective creditor is relying only on your score in their decision making, then it is gravy.

However, if the credit sought is such that they do a more thorough manual review and see that your score is based in part on the credit history of another, it may place the value of your score itself into question, as it does not reflect your own, personal credit history.  They cannot produce a score that exludes part of the reported history.

What types of credit are you apping for, and what is your score without the AU?

Only if they gave you a card which you used and brought the balance up on it.
