AUTHORIZED USER..CAN YOU BE DENIED?

I am rebuilding my credit.  All debts paid and two newly opened credit cards ($1K and $500) being well managed.  I've asked a family member (excellent credit/very responsible) to add me as an auth user to Bank of America CC.  I know his credit limit is high and has had the account for many years.  Can you be denied to be added as an auth user?  I'm worried because I know some of my scores aren't credit hence the purpose of me asking him to add me Smiley Happy

They don't check your credit to be an AU so they wouldn't know.  They ask for your name and address.
