I was looking at my credit report today and a card account that was charged off has been changed to a collection? Is that normal? is it the same thing just a change in designation on thier end?
It is an account that was charged off in 2008 - and has show that way until just this month.
Just looked very strange - anyone know why that would happen?
Does the TL have an amount? If it's $0 it's a CO.

Yes it has an amount. Has never shown a zero balance.
Then it is not a CO. It is a collection account.

SOL = 4 years
Offer a pfd, and keep trying till they agree. It is now passing the SOL so they can't take you to court. So keep sending them till they take it.
