Re: Accounts paid 0/late charge off

If the debt was reported as $0 based on your payment of the debt as opposed to their sale of the debt, then the debt was satisfied.

You could send a request to the creditor for their good-will deletion of hte reporting of the charge-off.

It is a major derog, and worth the effort to get removed.

It's normal exclusion date will be at approx 7 years from the date of your first delinquency on the debt.

Do you know the DOFD?  If its exclusion date is near, you may not need to do anything other than wait it out.

These go back to 2011. so not close to coming off

Were sold to collections and i had them deleted from report. GW.

Re: Accounts paid 0/late charge off

If the OC sold the debt to a debt collector, and you then paid the debt collector, then the OC did not receive any of the payment.

They thus took a an overall loss.

You could request a GW deletion by the OC, but having taken a loss does not usually put creditors in a mood of good-will.
