Add mortgage to experian?

So i have a collection from nco on my credit report, and i get a letter from them evertytime i open a new account... I have a mortage for $120k on my other reports except experian for some reason.... My question is, should i add it to my experian report in the hopes my score will go up, or do you think its a bad move and maybe it will drop?

Re: Add mortgage to experian?

It is up to the creditor on which CRAs they report.  They may not report to EX.  Not all creditors report to all 3 CRAs.  It cost them money to report,

You could always ask them.

Would it positively or negatively effect my score?

Assuming there are no lates on the accounts, if it would be your first installment loan then it would very likely boost your FICO score.   If not then it might not help your score very much.

The only scenario I can think where it would hurt your score is if the account is younger than your AAoA and causes a drop in overall age.
