Adding authorized user

I have a good credit score (730+), no lates or collections.

One of my best friend asked me to add him as authorized user to my credit card. He have several unpaid collections that will drop off next summer.

Is it safe for me to add him to my card? (i will not issue a card for him ,its just for his score)

I don't see how it would hurt you, unless he somehow got his own card and started buying up stuff.

Some CC don't even add AUs to the CRAs.  Do you know if this particular card does?
