Here's something interesting. I replied to the email declining the goodwill, requesting that the account is at least updated where it is no longer listed as an open loan with lates and got this response.
This is something you will need to dispute directly with the credit bureau. The account was transferred to North American Collection Services on 02/11/2008 for a balance of $50.00. they would have originally reported the account to the credit bureau. The hospital does not have any control over how they handle their accounts but I would not know why they would report something with only a $50.00 balance as an open loan. The hospital does not have any open loan on accounts the hospital is still handling so this might be something that the credit bureau put on the account.
Might be helpful to others in the same position. I just sent an email to North American. We'll see what happens.
OK, so this account finally updated after it was paid, but I don't think this is accurate. How can it be marked as paid but also 120 days late? Can it be reported this way? By this way this was a collection for a $50 hospital copay, not a loan. Anything I can do? Here's the listing on Equifax:

PS, Don't mean to hijack OPs thread, but thinking OP is having this same issue too, lol.
I thought it was Equifa x at first but after disputing it a couple of times, I believe it's a separate collection agency that isn't on my report that is reporting it this way. From what I can tell Florida Hospital has no clue how they report, though they don't seem overly concerned either.
Was any progress made on this account? After 6 months I'm still trying to rid my report of AHS SUNBELT.
