hello all. I am looking for any kind of advice on my current situation. I currently have 5K in medical collections due to not having insurance and a trip to the ER. I in no way can afford to pay this type of debt. Is there anything that can be done to get it deleted or has anyone had success with settling for much less?

You can always try to settle the debt for a portion of what is owed. You would need to contact them and ask what you can do. Maybe even try for a PFD for the accounts after payments have been made.
