Hi friends. So I've been in the rebuilding process, and am wondering if I can get some advice on qualifying for an FHA loan.
My scores are currently:
EX 662
TU 616
EQ 623
I have 1 collection that is currently being paid on. Will be paid off on 12/1/17.
My husband (if I put him on the loan) scores are:
EX 591
TU 595
EQ 560
He has 2 collection accounts I am trying to get taken care of and was just approved for a Capital One Unsecured card.
I would like to try to prequalify in March or April? Or should I wait? Would I have a better change on approval by myself? Any advice on what to do to meet that goal would be appreciated.
Some criteria for FHA qualification are set under FHA regulations, while others are discretionary on the part of the actual lendor.
I would begin by reviewing the published FHA qualification criteria, and then having a consultation with an actual, prospective lendor for their detailed requirements.
