Afni Are The Worst!

So a while back I dv'd Afni. They responded with an actual bill showing it was past 7 years from the OC. It actually fell off my report a few days after I dv'd because the 7 years was up.

Now just recently I got a another notice from them trying to collect for the same account? Isn't it harrassment at this point? I mean 7 years has been long and done and just give it up already.

I think they can try to collect as long as they want. They just cannot report it to your CR's.

Oh IC oh well I'll just ignore the letters then unless they report which would be against fcra

i just DV'd afni, i'm not looking forward to dealing with them from what i've heard, I haven't even gotten my sig. cert. back yet, been enough time to get it back too, i saved everything so not too worried yet...

I'm okay with AFNI. It's Sprint that is screwing with my sister. She paid Sprint a couple years ago while her account was in the mail to AFNI.

AFNI is waiting on Sprint to confirm payment from 2006 so they can remove from her credit report. Sprint has been unresponsive for about 35 days now.

I DV'D afni on 4/01/08 and still haven't heard from them. I did recieve the card back but no response. I did see that they updated on my credit. What should i do next, send the 15 day DV letter or MOV the CRA?

They have 30 days after they receive the GC. Then, you have to allow for mail time back to you. Give them 35 days after they signed for the CMRRR.
