I just PM'ed both of you my contact at AFNI - he did it over the phone in 15 minutes and it was off my credit in less than two weeks - received a letter confirming everything within three weeks

may I have the contact? What % did you PFD?

I was able to do it at roughly 30% if I remeber correctly, but my understanding is that 20 - 50% is their range depending on the age of the debt and when they purchased it. Check your PM!

Congrats! I recieved several letters, the first being one regarding the debt, followed by one stating it was settled, followed the final letter stating it would be deleted from the various tradelines. Entire process took about three weeks and score went up roughly 20 points on that one deletion.

If you have time I would DV AFNI. First, you should actually find out if they have any data to prove they have the account and the right to collect. AFNI tends to delete upon DV on a lot of the old Verizon accounts.
