After Collections where do Original Creditors go?

Ok so I remember a little over 2 years ago I moved my credit from the gutter (mostly utility and medical) to beautiful and pristine in a matter of weeks with the help of everyone in this forum.

Now I am back and it isn't looking good.  I didn't listen to myself or my husband.  I wanted what I wanted and it ended up costing me so much and now it is looking like possibly my marraige as well.

I have 7 cards and 1 car loan left.

2 of the cards are paid and closed

1 of the cards PSECU is open and I pay double the bill when it comes

The car loan is through the same CO that same place PSECU

4 of the cards closed and have gone into collections

I am wondering if I do this just right if I can clear this all again.

I got put down to part time again about 8 months ago.

Before that I had everything payed perfectly, then the money just wasn;t there anymore to make all the payments.

So I just stopped paying them.

I am wondering if I save up the total of what I owe out ($6400) and pay the collections and I do the pay to remove will the original creditors GE and such fall off my report too?  Or will they just keep reporting I owe them or how does that work?

Thanks to anyone willing to help.

Re: After Collections where do Original Creditors go?

A paid collection is still a collection, it just has a $0 balance, so yes, it will still be a negative on your CR.  Sorry.  Smiley Sad
