Alert and score decrease. Why?

Why would this change on my credit report result in a 13 point decrease? My husband and I both had this alert show up today and a decrease in score.

The account has been paid in full for 2 or 3 months and has never been late.  Thanks!!

Re: Alert and score decrease. Why?

Its because Capital One sold the card to Citi. Citi should be listing a new account at some point that they are supposed to report with the original open date.   That could be a mixed bag as well depening on the age of the card and your AAOA.  The drop could have been due to utilization because it lowered your over all available credit.
