It's hard to fight the app spree itch, but you will be happy you didn;t fold in the long run.

On to more relevant topics...double eek. Just got three new credit cards. Whoops. I guess my official gardening time can start now. No more apps. I have to repeat it like a mantra. No more apps, no more apps, no more apps.
Luckily for me I love digging in the dirt.
No need to be embarrassed about your work situation. In this economy, merely having any kind of job after college is an accomplishment. If you have steady work that keeps you fed and sheltered, you are doing better than many others in this world and have cause to celebrate.
In credit, and in the workforce, the best way to build your reputation is with patience and consistently meeting your commitments. You will get to those higher tiers in time, in both cases I am sure.
In the short term, if it helps with the discipline to avoid applkying for a while, you might consider freezing your credit reports so that you can't make an app without having to unlock the garden gate first.
