Thank you so much for the info.  One more question:  The account that I had which was turned over to LVNV still has a balance due of 400.00.  Should I pay them first and THEN send the letter to the BBB?  Or contact the OC and try to pay?  Send the letter to the BBB first?  I do owe the money to somebody.  What do you recommend as to the order of doing things?  Thank you again for your help.
