I hate to be the bearer of bad news but I got the contact information and was not successful...mind you my situation should've been a shoe in to remove. I work for Time Warner Cable and we purchased insight which used CPA this was paid directly to insight the month they listed it and even with me being an "employee" they refused to remove it. the email is below.

Yes, I have received a update on this account, I do apologize for the delay, this is completely aside from the normal protocol of how accounts are normally handled.
Unfortunately, we are unable to delete this account just because it is paid. We only delete accounts if it is proven with proper documentation that it is fraudulent. We update all of the credit reporting agencies with a 0 balance at a paid in full status.
Do you have anything proving why it should not have been reported? If so you can fax in supporting documents. Aside from that we are unauthorized to delete the account because it is paid. It will show as PIF status on your credit report.

allow 24 to 48 hours for the delete to process at the credit bureaus."
This is the email I received today from CPA the attached form showed that they requested for my account to be deleted. I am willing to share email info with anyone that wants it.

please do share...hopefully its a different contact then I've already tried...If you could IM me the info it truly would be greatly appreciated. this is the 1 of 2 collections I have on my bureau and my hsbc from 06 is due to drop off next month.
