Would you mind sending me some information on how to deal with these people too?! We just pulled my boyfriend's Equifax credit report and it's showing as an account that is 120 past due. But HSBC (the original creditor) is still also listed in the accounts. His TU is showing it as a CA - I have no idea where to start with this!! Thank you so much!

Can you send the contact info to me also? I am currently in a payment arrangement with Portfolio. I have one more payment left next week and it will be paid. I was told it tis illegal to PFD, but I was able to negiotiate a lower payment (50% less). The rep said they'll send a document with the proper signatures from the legal team stating the debt was paid in full. I was hesitant, but really needed to pay this debt.
