Tried searching but haven't found anything definitive. Anyone have any luck with any Comenity branded cards (store cards or major) after a discharged bankruptcy?
I really want the Shell gas card because it has good rewards - and its all I use around here, but don't want to waste an inquiry.
Scores are in upper 600s and been discharged since February.
Thanks!
I have several Comenity cards but I have been discharged since 2008. My oldest Comenity is about 18 months so I got it around 1/2013- five years post discharge. To be honest, I wasn't TRYING to get any new cards before then. I stupidly thought I would be turned down until I found this forum. I lived with nothing but a secured BOA card for five years before that.
I just applied with them.
I have 3- and my bk is less than 6 months.. all through shopping cart. Don't risk a hard.. llol
My mom has a bankrupty discharged in 2005. She was approved for Talbot and New York and Company.
