Any success stories of dismissing/vacating judgments?

Has anyone ever tried to negotiate to pay a judgment in full in exchange for dismissal/vacating the judgment? And if so, were you also able to remove it off the credit reports once it was vacated?

Call the creditor or the attorney and ask them if they will.  Yes, it can and has been done.

I will if it ends up showing up on my credit report. If not, I prefer to just make the monthly payments we've agreed to since interest is not accruing anymore.

The only person that can vacates or dismiss a judgment is a judge after a hearing for a motion to vacate or dismiss is filed by the plaintiff or the defendent in that particular case.  The judge grants the motion to vacate or dismiss the judgment.
