This gives me hope because I owe them about $4100 and I am about to pay it off. I will probably send a PFD first but if they dont bite on that I will GW and call them to death! Thanks for the post!

Been on a temp Hiatus from myfico but honestly I got them removed last year by reporting them to the BBB. I owed them 4500.00 from 8/06 and reported them to the BBB in Arizona. 2 weeks after that they sent a letter stating they are closing my account and clearing away the balance. I spent 2 hours on the phone with EX Manager getting it removed off my credit report as the debt said Western International University and the letter and the BBB complaint was in UOP. We had to do a 3 way call. For 6 months before that I disputed till I was blue in the face. Only thing that scared them was the BBB. Too many BBB and they can not renew their accreditation each year and that is not something they want! YMMV

Im still waiting on a response from UoP. I heard they are a pain for removals but I will keep trying. Im thinking the bugging game will work where you keep calling and calling until someone bends their "rules" and just removes it. i will try it after i get a response from my GW. The worst they can say is no.

my wife still owes them 1924.00. I plan on paying in full to have it removed but they will not budge. can I please get the contact info you used. this is her last large baddie out of 2 on all three reports. I dont want to go the BBB route because she wants to start back to finish her program. she only has like 10 months left. thanks mile
